GBR Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly progressive, modern M&E / MEP Building Services Company, recruiting for an experienced mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, to work across Commercial, Public Sector & Industrial building types across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, North Lincolnshire, East Riding / Humber & other area within 1 to 1.5 hours of Lincoln.
As a mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, you will have a chance to install a wide variety of Gas as appliances, such as central heating plant & plant rooms, unvented & instantaneous water heaters, a variety of commercial boilers & hot air heaters both direct and indirect fired, plus be responsible for carrying out Gas Safety checks to appliances & gas pipe installations, with Health & Safety at the forefront of everything you do.
For this key Commercial Gas Engineer role, you must be prepared to undertake a DBS check & police vetting, due to the particular end using clients this M&E / MEP Building Services company works with (Hospitals, Police Stations, Prisons, Schools etc.).
If you are an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer (any skill level, junior to senior considered) who wants a varied, interesting & challenging role, within an employer of choice that looks after & develops its Gas Engineers then this is the ideal Gas specialist role for you.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience of working on a wide variety of commercial gas solutions, for an M&E / MEP Building Services company or Facilities Management company or similar
- Full UK Driving License
- Trade qualifications: minimum of IGEM/UP/1a qualification (ideally above), plus other qualifications out of the following would be an added benefit but not essentual COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1&1A, CIGA1, COMMCAT, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CCCN1, CORT1, CPA1, HTR1, HWSS-R, DAH1, LPG qualifications
- Commercial Gas Safe registered plumber
- Commercial Gas qualifications/Industrial Gas qualifications
- F-GAS 2079 card
