GBR Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working exclusively with a highly successful Lincolnshire based IT Managed Service Provider recruiting for an experienced 1st & 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join the team.
The business is going through an exceptional period of growth following on from them having great success within the IT MSP industry sector currently supporting more than 200 long standing loyal clients across the County and surrounding areas, such as Newark and Grantham.

Role Overview:
This is an exciting, varied opportunity for a truly confident, friendly, and proactive IT guru to join our clients highly customer focused IT team, with a real opportunity to become part of a business that is only going from strength-to-strength year on year in turn opening up potential career development opportunities in the near future.
You will be providing 1st and 2nd line IT support (even 3rd line if possible) remotely and on customer sites across servers, desktops, laptops, networks, firewalls and Office365.
This fast-paced demanding role working to strict client SLA’s and to tight deadlines will require the individual to have broad IT / Tech experience plus a calm manner.
Due to the client base being substantial and across all industry sectors you will get the opportunity to work across many different bespoke IT systems as well as more off the shelf solutions, growing your skills further.
Essential Experience, Skills & Requirements:
- Highly experienced in supporting Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019) with strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
- Vast experience of providing support for Microsoft based software including 365, Windows and Office.
- Strong working knowledge of networking including VPNs and firewalls.
- A quiet space at home to work + fast broadband internet (office or spare room).
- A clean driving license and presentable car for site visits (1st impression counts).
- Must reside in the Lincoln/Newark/Grantham area or close to.
